Can contract deadlines be postponed? On October 19, 2023, the Law Amending Deadlines (Temporary Order – Operation Northern Shield) (Contract, Judgment or Payment to Authority), 2023-2024, was enacted. This legislation specifically addresses Operation Northern Shield, overriding—but not contradicting—the 1975 Deadline Extension Law. For instance, an individual ineligible under the Deadline Extension Law may still qualify under the Law Amending Deadlines.
